City Select Launches Curated 9×12 Medical Mailer in Gilbert, AZ
First-of-its-kind category-exclusive direct mail enters the Arizona medical market with charter pricing for ten founding practices per zone.
GILBERT, AZ — A new curated medical mailer launches in Arizona this spring with a structural twist on the saturated direct-mail category: only one practice per specialty per zone appears on the card. City Select, founded in 2026, prints a 9×12 editorial-style card four times a year and delivers it via USPS Every Door Direct Mail to every premium household in its coverage zones.
The model deliberately rejects the shared-mailer convention in which dentists, dermatologists, chiropractors and competing practices all appear in the same envelope. "The reason most direct mail doesn't work is that it's a coupon stack," said Alan, founder of City Select. "Ours is one card. Six other practices on it — none of them competing with you. You're the only dentist. The only dermatologist. The only orthodontist. That's a fundamentally different product than a Valpak insert."
Coverage in Gilbert is split into two non-overlapping zones — North Gilbert (zip codes 85234, 85233, 85296) and South Gilbert (85295, 85297, 85298) — together reaching approximately 90,000 households at a household-weighted median income of $108,000–$125,000. The company will expand to Chandler in Q3 2026, Scottsdale in Q4 2026, and Queen Creek in Q1 2027.
City Select operates a category-exclusive curation model in which exactly one practice per specialty is accepted per zone — meaning a dentist who locks the Gilbert South slot is the only dentist on that zone's card for the duration of the campaign. The company says it screens applications against HIPAA marketing guidance and Arizona Medical Board Rule R4-16-401 before accepting placement.
The company is offering charter pricing to the first eight practices in each zone, locked through 2026. Quarterly subscribers also receive a free seasonal press release featuring their practice each quarter as part of their package.
